It is important to have keywords in the content of website to improve the search engine rankings. Use the short tailed and long tailed keywords in a good mixture. Various sections of the website that are closely related with the keyword group should be identified and arrange the pages of the website using these themes.

According to Google, paid links have a “nofollow” tag that prevents the search engines to follow the link and the Page Rank will get transferred. Anchor text is a tool to improve the rankings of your web page in search engines. Anchor text can be used in external links, internal links, navigation maps and links on your web page. The process of optimizing anchor texts with the help of keywords in order to get higher rankings in search engines is known as Anchor text optimization. But there are other roles that the anchor text plays:
